Clear rules for a calmer Doola experience.
These terms explain how Doola works, what Doola Scan can and cannot do, and the boundaries around AI-generated pregnancy-safety education.
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Doola websites, mobile applications, Doola Scan, and related online products and services provided by WOOSOO PTY LTD and its affiliates.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Educational service, not medical advice
Doola provides educational information to help parents and parents-to-be understand pregnancy-safety considerations around food, skincare, supplements, ingredients, symptoms, and related everyday questions.
Doola is not a medical service, healthcare provider, diagnosis tool, treatment tool, emergency service, or substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions, personal risk factors, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, or emergencies.
If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
3. Using Doola Scan and AI features
Doola Scan may process photos, product labels, ingredient text, food questions, skincare questions, or other content you submit to generate pregnancy-oriented educational explanations.
AI and vision features can make mistakes, miss context, or produce incomplete results. You are responsible for reviewing outputs, checking product labels, considering your personal medical context, and seeking professional advice when needed.
Do not submit illegal content, content you do not have the right to submit, or information you do not want processed by Doola and our service providers for the purpose of providing and improving the Services.
4. Accounts, eligibility, and security
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, or have consent from a parent or legal guardian where required, to use the Services.
If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep it updated, protect your login credentials, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
5. Subscriptions, purchases, and app stores
Some features may require payment or a subscription. Prices, renewal terms, trials, cancellation rights, and refunds may depend on whether you purchased through Apple, Google, another app store, or Doola directly.
If you purchased through an app store, billing, cancellation, and refunds are generally handled by that app store under its own terms. You should cancel subscriptions at least 24 hours before renewal where app store rules require it.
6. Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Doola a limited permission to host, process, analyze, transmit, and display that content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services.
You are responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the Services, interfere with security, reverse engineer non-public parts of the Services, scrape or overload our systems, submit harmful code, violate the rights of others, use Doola for illegal activity, or use outputs as a replacement for professional medical judgment.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or if needed to protect users, Doola, or the Services.
8. Intellectual property
Doola and its licensors own the Services, including software, design, brand assets, text, graphics, interfaces, and other materials, except for content you submit or third-party materials. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Doola intellectual property to you.
9. Disclaimers and limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that outputs will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, error-free, or appropriate for your personal medical circumstances.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doola will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
10. Changes to the Services or Terms
Doola may update, add, remove, or change features as the product evolves. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice where required by law.
Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, except where local consumer protection laws require otherwise. If a law in your jurisdiction gives you mandatory rights that cannot be waived, those rights continue to apply.
